A device this close to your life has to earn it. Here's what I commit to — in plain words, not legal paragraphs.

The mute switch is real
When it's off, the microphones are off. This is wired into the circuit, not enforced by software. No firmware update can override it.

A light always means listening
White light on, the mics are on. White light off, the mics are off. No hidden listening state. No quiet capture.

On-device first
Wake-word, transcription, and your personal memory run locally on the wearable and your phone. Nothing leaves the device unless you choose to enable cloud features.

Encrypted memory, your keys
Your memory is encrypted at rest and in transit. I can't read it. Neither can anyone working on Quavil. Decryption only happens on devices you own.

"Forget" actually forgets
When you say "forget the last ten minutes" or "forget this person," the model forgets and the index forgets. There is no undo on our end. There is no backup we hold.

It asks before it acts
Payments, deletions, code pushes, file removals — anything that costs you money or that you can't undo — Quavil asks first. Every action leaves a receipt you can audit.

You can export it all
Your memory, your captures, your receipts — exportable any time, in formats you can actually read. No lock-in.

You can delete it all
Close your account and your data is purged from my servers within 30 days. No "deactivation," no shadow profiles, no waiting on a support ticket.
What I actually collect today (pre-launch)
- ● Visitors: standard anonymous analytics (page views, country, referrer). No identifying information. No cookies that follow you off the site.
- ● Email senders: if you write to hi@chaitanya.science, I keep your email so I can write back. Not used for anything else. Not added to any list.
- ● No product data yet: the wearable hasn't shipped. There is nothing on a server that maps to you because there isn't a product collecting from you yet.
